The Spurs defender has been linked with a move away from North London for what feels like forever, with some suggesting that Old Trafford is the most likely destination for him. The 30 year old has been with Tottenham since back in 2015, turning himself into a fan favourite in English football. He is also a Belgium international, having made his debut for the senior team in 2009.
Toby himself hasn’t been shy when it comes to discussing his future, and given the way the season is going for Spurs, it wouldn’t be all too surprising to see him search for a move elsewhere. The price tag is certainly an interesting anecdote, especially in the modern era of the beautiful game, as some fans and pundits would suggest that fee is an absolute bargain for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
